Our rehab admissions process has been set up to make it easy on YOU. Our commitment is to make the process as fast and simple as we can while keeping your safety and easy transition to treatment as a top priority. We know you may have a lot going on before you arrive to our program and we go the extra mile to make arrival and admission as smooth as possible for you.

When you first call us, you will speak to an experienced intake coordinator who will warmly and non-judgmentally answer all the questions you may have. We want to make sure you are as comfortable as you can be about coming into our program, so we’re happy to speak with any family members or friends who have questions as well. We will start educating you on our unique philosophy, culture, and treatment methodology, which is customized for your unique needs. When you decide to move forward on attending our residential program, you will be e-mailed more detailed information on our included services, traveling here, what to bring, financial arrangements, insurance verification, etc.

Our Rehab Admissions Process Includes 3 Easy Steps:

Step 1: Registration

First, to be accepted into the program, you must WANT to fully participate in your own healing and empowerment. Once you’ve received the “go ahead” from our intake coordinator, you will register for the program by paying a non-refundable deposit with your credit card. Registration happens over the phone. After the initial registration is completed, we will send you information packets with details of the program, including what to bring.

Step 2: Pre-Admission

After registering, we will work with you to schedule your pre-admission call. The goal of this call is to get to know you, discover what specifically you’re wanting to achieve by coming to our program, and retrieve all the pertinent medical and behavioral information necessary for coming to our facility. We try to make this call as low-stress and easy for you as we can. Instead of sending pages and pages of documents to fill out, you receive 5 or 6 short documents to complete. After those forms, you don’t have to worry about other pre-admission paperwork. We complete all other pre-admission documentation from the information gathered in the call by the counselor. Additionally, in the 1 ½ to 2 hour call, you start to form a connection with a member of the therapy team that you’ll soon be working with on a daily basis.

Step 3: Admission

Next, we will support and guide you in making your travel arrangements and planning your arrival to our program. We will pick you up from the airport and, on the way to the center, take you to the lab to complete the necessary tests required to create a safe and customized protocol for you.


Once at the center, you are greeted and oriented by admissions counselors and a nurse, and also meet with our medical director. Once you get a lay of the land, your personal belongings are checked to ensure compliance with what is allowed at a special treatment facility. You are then introduced to the other clients who are on their own healing journeys. You’ll find that nourishing, delicious food is abundant, and the environment of the center is welcoming and calm.


Now, your program can begin! We take time every day to take a moment and appreciate how far you’ve come since entering our program, and we can’t wait to see what you learn during your time with us.

How Quickly Can You Be Admitted?

Admissions can happen very quickly, often within 24 or 48 hours. The transfer of your medical records from your primary physician can expedite the process. It is important to realize that we do not admit clients over the weekend as the laboratory is not open to do the necessary blood test. Admissions are most often on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Traveling to Avive la Vie

Our admission team will work with you to coordinate your travel dates and arrival times.

Clients arrive Monday through Friday between 9am and 1pm. The main reason for this is that we need to take you to the lab to get blood work done for the medical director to assign your medical protocol.

We pick you up at the airport and take you to the lab and x-ray department for a state-required TB screening. Then, we bring you to our residential facility for admission and the beginning of your program.
